Gillian Smith is a Los Angeles-based director, writer, and producer with two Emmy Awards to her name. After honing her storytelling skills as an Associate Producer at Entertainment Tonight, she directed, co-wrote and co-produced her feature debut, Burrow. As a creator and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Gillian seeks to improve visibility for all women, but especially those who are also members of underrepresented groups, such as queer women, disabled and neurodivergent women, and women of color.

Jessica Balunas is a Los Angeles-based producer and director. She currently works as a Production Planner at Netflix, where she program manages promotional asset production across thousands of titles, liaising between engineers, producers, and artists to optimize efficiency while upholding company standards of creative excellence. As a creator, Jessica seeks to tell stories that reflect every individual’s search for meaning and self-actualization, especially those whose experiences often aren’t represented in media. She believes deeply in the importance of self-determination for all people regardless of their background.
